Cave walk at the Gertrudenberg

There are numerous hidden caves and underground passages under the Bürgerpark, which we will explore together with a cave guide. Besides the Gertrudenberger Loch and the Meesenburghöhlen, we will explore many more caves and passages.

You can find more information about the caves here: http://gertrudenberger-hoehlen-osnabrueck.de/

Meeting point: Sacristy of the Gertrudenkirche, Senator-Wagner-Weg 9 (Gertrudenring),
Sturdy shoes are required, helmets and miner’s lamps are available at the church
Then we walk together to the cave entrance.
Take approx. 1.5 to 2 hours
Costs: 3€ per person, please bring suitable clothing for the cave tour.

The event is a 2G event. So please bring a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery from a covid infection.

And to get you in the mood, here’s a little riddle, maybe someone already knows it or you can solve it:

You can’t see it, you can’t disturb it,
you can’t eat it, you can’t hear it,
it lies behind the stars and under the rocks,
it trickles into all the caves,
it comes first and follows last,
it extinguishes all life until no one talks any more.

You can register until 29.11., provided that one of the 14 places is still available.
