Together with the AStA of the University of Osnabrück, we offer free legal advice for all students of the University of Osnabrück and the University of Osnabrück. A variety of competent lawyers from different disciplines offer a free consultation to clarify legal questions with you.

Studying does not always run smoothly and you sometimes have to deal with different problems in your everyday life. The Studentenwerk Osnabrück therefore offers counselling with professional psychological specialists and trained staff who will support you with your personal difficulties. The psychosocial counselling centre is divided into two areas with the following counselling services:
No one should be impaired by barriers or a disability in their everyday studies. For this reason, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences offers all students with disabilities or chronic illnesses comprehensive support and advice on studying.

Reconciling family and studies is sometimes an extreme challenge! If you have any questions regarding the compatibility of family and studies or career, you can contact the Social Counselling Service of the Studentenwerk as well as the Family Service of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
In addition, the Familienbündnis Region Osnabrück and the Ev. Familien-Bildungsstätte e.V. Osnabrück jointly offer emergency childcare for students.
Our International department is the first point of contact for all international students. We support you with problems, advise you on various topics or direct to you the appropriate offices and make your stay at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences easy and enjoyable.

We know that sexual discrimination and sexual violence do not stop at the doors of the university. We therefore see it as our duty all the more to resolutely oppose any tendencies. As representatives of the student body, we see ourselves as the first point of contact for students in crisis situations. Therefore, we regularly offer workshops on how to deal with sexualised violence, which we take part in ourselves.
