From Monday, 13 June, to Sunday, 3 July, this year’s Stadtradeln (city cycling) will take place, in which Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences will once again be represented by a team. Stadtradeln is a nationwide competition in which the aim is to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for 21 days. It doesn’t matter how often you cycle – every kilometre counts!
You can already register for the university team via the city cycling Website. Together, colourful teams of staff, teachers and students are to be formed and promote climate protection at the university. Even those who are not in Osnabrück or Lingen can cycle for the university team.
Last year, 107 university members cycled along, covering a total of more than 25,000 kilometres. The city of Osnabrück awards prizes for the most diligent cyclists and the largest team. In addition, the AStA of the university offers joint cycling tours and awards prizes for the most diligent cycling students.
If you don’t have a Stadtradeln waistcoat yet, you can pick one up at the AStA office on Westerberg (AE building, opposite the canteen) during office hours.
