What exactly is the semester ticket?<\/h3>\n

The semester ticket ensures your mobility at the university location and beyond. With the Deutschlandsemesterticket, you are mobile throughout Germany. <\/p>\n

Every semester you pay your semester fee which consists of four parts<\/a>. One part is the contribution for the semester ticket. The ticket is based on the solidarity model. By all students of the Osnabr\u00fcck University of Applied Sciences purchasing the ticket, a favorable provision of a ticket is possible in the first place.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

The Deutschlandsemesterticket<\/h3>\n

Since the winter semester 2024\/2025 (01.09.2024), you can explore all of Germany with the Deutschlandsemesterticket. You are mobile anywhere and at any time. <\/p>\n

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is a digital ticket and can be easily accessed via the following link<\/a>. Log in with your university access data and the ticket will be displayed. We recommend that you save it in your smartphone’s wallet so that you can access it offline. <\/p>\n

Passenger rights with the semester ticket<\/h2>\n

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is considered a significantly discounted season ticket, so you can be reimbursed a flat rate of \u20ac1.50 if you are 60 minutes late. By the way, the reasons for the delay don’t matter (strike, bad weather, train cancellation, etc.), the only important thing is that the arrival at your destination was delayed by 60 minutes or more. However, it should be noted that amounts less than \u20ac4 are generally not paid out. So you need to accumulate three tardies over the course of the semester. Please also note that a maximum of 25% of the price of the Deutschlandsemesterticket will be paid out. You can make claims up to one year in arrears.<\/p>\n

Fill out a Passenger Rights Form for ANY trip delayed 60 minutes or more. You can find the passenger rights forms in all DB Travel Centers or at DB Service Points in the stations or online here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
