It’s now time to close the books and have a bit of fun during this semester. The online escape room is perfect for you to have a fun time with your friends or even meet some new people.
AStA has teamed up with the Big Break Hamburg to give you access to two different online escape rooms.
The best part: this will all be free for you!
And that’s what the games are about:
#1 The world is in chaos!
There is a highly contagious virus causing an epidemic and much of the population is under quarantine. Nevertheless you’ve risked coming to our detective agency to try and crack our newest case: the disappearance of Professor Marks. The world renowned microbiologist has been missing since this morning and along with him, the newly developed formula to the vaccine to fight the virus. He announced his scientific advancement yesterday and began acting so strangely and who was he talking to? Don’t wast any time. Make your way to his apartment, get inside and search through everything! Time is of the essence!
#2 Embrace your inner gangster and rob the casino blind!
You’ve already made a name for yourself on the streets and are excited to take part in the biggest casino robbery the world has ever seen. With a team of world renouned thieves on your side, you are sure your clever minds will be able to exectue the perfect crime! Do you have what it takes to break into the underground casino vault and escape without getting caught? Good luck gangsters!
Interested? Then just follow these simple steps below and start playing!
1. Register yourself and your team using the registration form further down on this page.
2. If you want to meet new people, then send an email to international@hochschulfreun.de where you will be formed into groups.
3. Wait for the email with the access code and further information.
4. Connect using zoom or a similar platform and play the game before the end of the semester break!
Things that need to be considered!
– The game can not be played on smartphones. Tablets or PCs are fine.
– You need a stable internet connection and headphones.
– The game is estimated to take between 1-2 hours.

Word, Powerpoint und alle Literatur-Quellen schließen! Nach fast drei Online-Semestern, ist es mal wieder Zeit, den Laptop für Spaß und eine gute Zeit mit deinen Freund*innen zu verwenden!
Das Online Escape Game von Room Fox, bietet dir und deinem Team mindestens 1,5 Stunden Pause vom Hochschul-Stress, die gefüllt sind mit spannenden Rätseln und spaßigen Momenten, wenn endlich der bekannte Groschen fällt.
Und das Beste dabei: Wir vom AStA bieten euch die Zugänge kostenlos an und am Ende gibt es sogar noch viele coole Preise zu gewinnen!
Aber worum geht es eigentlich in dem Escape Game? Lest selbst:
In den alten Gebäuden des Güterbahnhofs befindet sich das Rekrutierungszentrum eines geschichtsträchtigen Geheimbundes. Du bist als Anwärter dafür ausgewählt worden und befindest dich auf dem Weg dorthin, um zu zeigen, dass du der Aufnahme in den Bund würdig bist.
Bei deiner Ankunft begegnest du einem geheimnisvollen Fremden, der dir erzählt, dass der Bund unterwandert wurde und es nun deine Aufgabe sei, eine Datensicherung durchzuführen, bevor der Maulwurf das gesammelte Wissen des Bundes der Vulpes vernichten kann.
Ein aufregendes Abenteuer zwischen alten Mauern und moderner Technik beginnt.
Bock? Dann einmal die folgenden Schritte befolgen und loslegen:
1. Über das Anmeldeformular weiter unten auf dieser Seite dich und dein Team anmelden
2. Auf die Mail mit dem Zugang und dem Spielcode warten (Der Spielcode ist hierbei sehr wichtig! Den braucht ihr am Ende des Spiels, um an unserem Gewinnspiel teilnehmen zu können)
3. Euch per Zoom oder einer ähnlichen Plattform zusammenschalten und das Spiel vor Ende der Semesterferien durchspielen!
Was gibt es noch zu beachten:
– Am Besten über Chrome, Safari oder Firefox starten.
– Das Spiel ist nicht für Smartphones oder Tablets optimiert.
– Ihr braucht eine stabile Internetverbindung.
