Do I have to pay for the semester ticket?
The costs of the semester ticket are included in the semester fee and have to be paid by all students, regardless of whether they actually use the ticket or not. In the Wintersemester 2018/2019 you pay 190,05 € for the semester ticket in Osnabrück and 158,55 € in Lingen.
Do I have to activate the semester ticket?
The semester ticket is included on your student identity card (“CampusCard”). As first-year student, your CampusCard is already validated and activated. After your first semester, you extend the validity period of your CampusCard – and hence the validity of the semester ticket – each semester after your renewal registration for the next semester at one of our validation stations:
How do I get a new CampusCard if it is lost, stolen or defective?
Please contact the ServiceDesk with your student number.
Is it allowed to take another person with me, who also travels free of charge?
This is only allowed when using bus lines operated by the “Verkehrsgemeinschaft Osnabrück” in Osnabrück.
Is it allowed to take my child with me free of charge by using the semester ticket?
In this case, each transport company has its own terms and conditions of travel. Please contact the respective transport company in advance.
Is it allowed to take my bicycle with me free of charge by using the semester ticket?
