Defying the icy winds, bike-loving students and university employees grabbed their bikes on Sunday afternoon (18.03.2018) to get to know Osnabrück’s secret routes together with the AStA of the university. Led by the ADFC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club), we discovered new paths in Osnabrück and can now move more safely through the city, far away from the traffic chaos on the main roads.

Not many dared to get on their bikes in the strong wind. But the bravery was rewarded! With many impressions and knowledge about Osnabrück.

Our path led from the campus at Westerberg through the old town to the train station and through the desert along places of student life, such as dormitories, university buildings and various leisure activities. At the end of the almost 20-kilometer tour, they warmed up again with a hot soup in the kiosk on the Westerberg. In a cozy atmosphere with cake, beer and coffee, we were able to exchange our impressions and clarify any questions that arose.

Missed a bike tour? No problem!
