This year, the city cycling will take place from May 1, 3 to June 2.

The university is again participating with a team. Last year, the university entered the race with 132 participants, who covered almost 23,000 kilometers together, making it the largest team in Osnabrück. Employees and students from all locations and faculties are once again cordially invited to collect kilometres by bike, which will benefit the university team. The aim of the campaign is to cover kilometres by bike for climate protection and one’s own health.

The city of Osnabrück awards prizes for the most diligent cyclists and teams. Two joint bicycle tours are also offered.

On this city cycling page you can join the team “Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences” (Link:University Team). From 13 May, you can then enter the kilometres you have ridden either on the website, via the free “City Cycling” app or in writing using a registration form. The team captain is the university’s climate protection manager, Sabine Adamaschek. You can find out more about the city cycling campaign on www.stadtradeln.de.
