With mulled wine, chocolate candy and pancakes, your student councils rang in the Christmas season and at the same time the upcoming election week.
Christmas pancake dinner in the WiSo student council
During the first two days of the election, the WiSo student council invited to a cozy pancake meal in the student council room. Many students came by, especially during their lunch break, to make themselves comfortable on the sofa and eat a few pancakes with syrup, chocolate sauce or powdered sugar. In addition, the students informed themselves about the ongoing elections and also voted diligently. A Christmas film invited people to linger in the student council to “escape” from the stressful everyday life of studying for a few moments and relax.
IuI – Committee meeting with a shot
On St. Nicholas Day, the IuI student council put up a display with chocolate and sweets in front of the cafeteria to draw attention to the committee meeting. In the evening, committee representatives met in a relaxed atmosphere to give students an understanding of our work. In addition to a lot of mulled wine, Lumumba and beer, there were program items such as stand-up comedy, committee presentations and a boisterous get-to-know-you round. In the SL building, members as well as candidates from student councils IuI & WiSo, AStA, Stupa, Senate and Faculty Council talked together in a Christmas mood until late into the night about the elections and committee communication.
We hope you have a nice pre-Christmas season and are looking forward to the Christmas holidays. And don’t forget – the elections are still running until December 14, so grab your phone or laptop and vote!
