What happens on the second day at the Terrace Festival? After a terrific opening day (here is the band check for Monday) you will think to yourself: “Awesome, again!” – even if it is in pain. You’re tough. And you will be rewarded with hip-hop/rock/punk, indie/ska and a secret act.
Secret Act?
A mysterious picture adorns the line-up from day 2 on www.terrassenfest.de. The app is still silent in a way that fills tension. What surprise
Tilt and curb windows
The first are windows on tilt and are supported by kerbstones . The first EP of the Osnabrück boys is called “Zeitsprung” and deals with the topic of growing up. The following words are used in the musical self-description:
“Raid, party and fairground visit.”
This is obviously all part of it and takes place somewhere between big-city escapism and loyalty to the provinces. And really, this could be a successful opener.
Home to Paris
In the middle part there is a promising ska band from Münster, which was also able to inspire the audience last year. Home to Paris combine indie, Balkan and funk influences – so danceable! The promo text promises a “real sound firework” from the eight-member troupe, which will present their new LP “Leistungskurs Singen und Klatschen”. As a sample, there is the song “Sad Boy” from 2011.
Finale!
The Secret Act makes the showdown. But because we have no idea who that could be, there is now simply a music video by Mark Wahlberg, who used to be a successful rapper and which is exceptionally available in your country.
