In April (!), the Federal Minister of Education and Research, Ms. Anja Karliczek, announced bridging aid for students in need. For a long time it was quiet about the bridging aid, but now it should start quickly.
From 16.06.2020 you will be able to apply online on the website überbrückungshilfe-studierende.de to get up to 500€ per month. You must and can submit a new application every month. For the months of June, July and August 2020.
