Climate protection plays a central role in our society. Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences also takes its responsibility seriously and is actively involved in the design and implementation of climate protection goals. The climate protection management introduced in 2016 is based on the climate protection sub-concept “Own properties”. It includes CO2 savings potential through building renovation measures and measures to change user behaviour. The goals and fields of action are, among others:
• Reduction of CO2 emissions
• Reduction of energy consumption
• Making procurement sustainable
• Promotion of sustainable mobility
• Sustainable research
• Sustainability in teaching
