Applications for a refund of the semester ticket for the summer semester 2021 can be submitted to the AStA until April 15 .
As every year, the well-known reasons for reimbursement apply, which you can find under the following link: FAQ Semester Ticket Refund .
Furthermore, as in the last winter semester 20/21, we have negotiated a corona-related refund with the transport companies on behalf of all colleges and universities in Lower Saxony.
We can therefore offer a refund for all students who will not participate in on-campus teaching in the summer semester 2021 and who are not in the area of validity of the semester ticket (Lower Saxony/Bremen) during the semester.
What you have to do/prove for this:
- Submit an application on the Setier portal (https://setier.hs-osnabrueck.de)
- Select Refund Reason “Not in Lower Saxony/Bremen”
- As proof we need:
- A current registration certificate showing that you have neither a primary nor a second residence in the area of validity of the semester ticket (Lower Saxony/Bremen).
- A list of your courses with the corresponding course calendar, which proves that you only participate in online courses.

- Submit the application and wait for approval
- Validate your CampusCard, show your card at the AStA office or send it in with an addressed envelope
- Get money back
The refund portal is open until 15.04.2021 for the summer semester. However, keep in mind that you usually cannot reactivate the ticket if you do need it.
