Hello dear first-year students of WS 17/18!
As every year, the student council WiSo has spared no effort to give you an unforgettable first semester at HS Osnabrück .
Starting with the first hurdle in your studies: the placement tests! So that you could start this full of energy, the student council WiSo RedBull gave you energy drinks.
It continued in the O-week on Wednesday and Thursday, where you got to know your mentors. With a beer or a mate, we then made ourselves comfortable on the sofas with the first-year students in the student council room (CF – 108).
On Friday, the How to Flunkyball followed. To ensure that all first-year students were properly prepared for the tournaments of major events such as the beach party and the terrace festival , we played flunkyball until the university’s internal rules were firmly anchored in the minds of the first-year students. We advise anyone who would like to form a team at the beach party or the T-Fest next year to practice diligently! Great prizes await you!
With the welcome ceremony for first-year students on 25 September, for the first time in the Osnabrück Halle, the winter semester 17/18 was ceremoniously heralded.
This was followed by our city rally for the Ersis, where you had to solve many tasks together with your mentors.
As a crowning finale, the student council WiSo + IuI celebrated the start of the semester together with you at the legendary first-semester party at the Virage! We were able to look forward to a gigantic 1,800 guests and a sensational atmosphere.
We are pleased to welcome the new first-year students and of course all established students of HS Osnabrück to our following events :
- the university cinema (every Monday in the Calo)
- Freshers’ weekend
- Semester Spokesperson’s Conference (17.10.)
- Study-Out Party (03.02.)
