What is it about?
The world has continued to develop, whereas the now 69-year-old Adolf Hitler has remained the same. But the angry ex-dictator is not taken seriously. He is considered a damn funny impersonator, so that he ultimately becomes a comedy television star through various coincidences and circumstances. His new popularity with television audiences is supposed to help him gain new power. And the media support him – after all, it’s all about the quota! For his performance as Hitler, Oliver Masucci was nominated for the “best male lead” at the German Film Awards 2016.
